Who We Are
Pocket XI is an iOS app for keeping a collection of football trading cards. It is published by Cosmos Platform Ltd, which is the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law. Questions about this policy can be sent to jramini12@gmail.com.
Summary
- Pocket XI does not collect any data. We never receive anything you put into the app.
- There is no account, sign-in or registration.
- The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and makes no network requests.
- Your cards, photos and notes are stored only on your device.
Camera
The app asks for camera access so you can scan cards. The camera image is analysed on your device to find the card, straighten it and read the text printed on it (using Apple's on-device Vision framework). Only the cropped photo of the card is saved, and only on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Photos
If you choose to add a card from your photo library, the app receives only the photos you pick in Apple's photo picker. It cannot see the rest of your library. A copy of each chosen photo is saved in the app on your device.
Data Stored on Your Device
Your collection (card photos, player names, clubs, leagues, seasons, set names, card types, prices and notes) is kept in the app's private on-device database. We never receive this information. Like other app data, it is included in your own iCloud or computer backups if you have backups turned on; those backups are handled by Apple or stored on your computer under your own account, not by us.
You can delete any card from within the app. Deleting the app removes your whole collection from the device.
Children
Pocket XI is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
This Website
This website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel may keep standard request logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for a limited period to operate and secure the service. We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking on this site. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
Your Rights
Because we hold no personal data about you from the app, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. You have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If the app ever starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.
